For poetry, please submit no more than three poems per issue. For fiction/essays, please submit one piece per issue. We cannot consider multiple submissions from one writer. You are welcome to resubmit later on for a future issue.
Successful submissions will be thoughtful, urgent, dark, funny, sexy, and weird, and will speak to a universal audience. Essays may incorporate criticism or reportage but will be overall narrative.
At this time we are not looking for criticism, reported pieces, genre fiction, anything with bad politics in the name of being edgy, or anything that feels overly referential to an internet subculture.
This is a labor of love and unfortunately, we cannot pay writers. We are working towards changing that in the future.
Translated work is welcome but the translator must secure permissions.
